TERAPI KOMBINASI MICRONEEDLE DAN PLATELET RICH PLASMA PADA SKAR AKNE

Fitria Fitria

Abstract

Abstract. Acne scar is the scar tissue that occurs because of impaired healing process of acne causing abnormalities of skin texture and color. Acne scars can affect the psychological and social aspect, so that the management of patients should gives satisfactory results is needed. Microneedle therapy causes little trauma to the dermis that will stimulate collagen formation and fill the hollows in atrophic scars with the release of several growth factors, and it can increase the absorption of platelet rich plasma (PRP) are applied afterwards which contains a variety of growth factors (GF) such as platelet derived growth factors (PDGF) and transforming growth factors (TGF) that useful for tissue regeneration and repair atrophic scars. Evaluation of acne scars treatment can be done with the depth of scar assessment using FSIA (facial skin imaging analysis) program which measures the depth of scars that were captured by a digital camera. In all cases that were done this therapy showed a decrease in the level depth of scars and side effects in all of the patients were not found.
