PERSEPSI PERAN PERAWAT PENDIDIK DENGAN PRESTASI BELAJAR MAHASISWA PENDIDIKAN PROFESI DI PSIK – FK UNSYIAH

ABSTRAK

Peran perawat pendidik dalam pembelajaran klinik menjadi salah satu faktor yang mempengaruhi hasil prestasi belajar yang dapat dinilai dari Indeks Prestasi Kumulatf (IPK) mahasiswa pendidikan profesi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan peran perawat pendidik di tinjau dari 4 sub peran yakni: penguasaan pengetahuan dan keterampilan klinis, penguasaan keterampilan dasar mengajar, kemampuan membentuk hubungan interpersonal dan karakteristik personal dalam proses pembelajaran klinik dengan prestasi belajar mahasiswa pendidikan profesi. Pengumpulan data diambil dengan menggunakan kuisioner terhadap 48 mahasiswa pendidikan profesi angkatan pertama 2011. Hasil penelitian diperoleh Indeks Prestasi Kumulatif (IPK) mahasiswa mayoritas pada kategori memuaskan (85,4%) dan untuk penguasaan pengetahuan dan keterampilan klinis termasuk dalam kategori baik (39,6%), sedangkan tiga kategori lainnya tergolong dalam kategori cukup. Analisa bivariat menunjukkan ada hubungan antara peran perawat pendidik dengan IPK mahasiswa pendidikan profesi (P Value 0,000). Kesimpulan penelitian ini bahwa perawat pendidik untuk pendidikan profesi masih belum maksimal dalam melakukan perannya yang mempengaruhi prestasi belajar mahasiswa. Untuk itu, diharapkan agar perawat pendidik meningkatkan kualitas perannya baik secara formal maupun informal.

ABSTRACT

The role of nurse educators in the clinical learning became one of the factors that influence the results of learning achievement that can be seen from grade point average (GPA) of professional education students. This study aimed to know the relationship between the role of nurse educators in the review of the four sub-roles such as: acquisition of knowledge and clinical skills, mastery of basic teaching skills, the ability to form interpersonal relationships and personal characteristics in the clinical learning process of learning achievement of professional education students. Data were collected by using a questionnaire. 48 first graduate from professional education in 2011 were extracted using a total sampling techniquesThe results showed, grade point average (GPA) of professional education students, majority classified in satisfy (85,4%) and for the mastery of knowledge and clinical skills are included in either category (39.6%), whereas the other three categories classified in the sufficient category. Bivariat analyzed results showed that there was a relationship between the role of nurse educators with professional education student GPA (P-value 0.000). It can be concluded that the nurse educator for the professional education is still not maximal in performing its role affecting the student learning achievement. Therefore, nurse educators are expected to improve the quality of the roles both formally and informally.
