New Venture Competitive Advantage and Performance: The Role of Strategic Entrepreneurship

Does strategic entrepreneurship affect new business performance?  How strategic entrepreneurship leads new ventures to build a competitive advantage and improve their performance? This study hypothesizes that strategic entrepreneurship can enable new ventures to develop a clear competitive advantage and better performance. The stronger the strategic entrepreneurship is the higher quality of competitive advantage and performance of the new ventures.  This research aims to analyze the role of strategic entrepreneurship in new venture competitive advantage and improve their performance. The study takes some relevant theoretical perspectives - strategic entrepreneurship theory, network theory, learning theory, the resource-based view, and real options theory.  This study employs a literature review method to analyze massive citations related to the topic discussed from accredited journal databases such as google scholars, emerald, and science direct.  The findings of this study support the hypotheses of the study which implies the essentials of applicable and comprehensive strategic entrepreneurship on new business performance.
