The Analysis of the Influence of the Use of Information Technology Systems on Improving the Quality of Employee Performance at BNI Branch of the Banda Aceh

Abstract


Based on the results of the study showed that the influence of the use of information technology system equipment, employee performance, and performance of the Banda Aceh branch of BNI Bank was good, indicated by the average score of each variable of 4.216 for performance, 4.139 for information technology systems, at 4.128 for employee performance and amounting to 4.1568 for the BNI branch office in Banda Aceh. Information technology system tools have a positive effect on the performance of Bank BNI employees in the Banda Aceh branch. The direct effect on employee performance is 12.89 percent, and the direct effect of information technology systems on employee performance is 5.38 percent. The value of the p-value of each variable both for employee performance and information technology system devices is smaller than 0.05. It can be concluded that information technology systems and employee performance have a significant effect on the performance of Bank BNI employees in the Banda Aceh branch. Employee performance and information technology system devices influence the performance of the Bank BNI branch of Banda Aceh through employee performance. The indirect effect of these two variables on service performance through employee performance is greater when compared to direct effects. Thus it can be concluded that the existence of employee performance can strengthen the influence of organizational performance progress and information technology system tools on the performance of the Bank BNI branch of Banda Aceh.
